An extract from the historical and archival reference of the enterprise

Until January 1970 Polotsk Commodity-Transport Post of Soyuzgaz trust was part of Dolinsk office in Ivano-Frankivsk region.

On October 28, 1981 Polotsk Commodity-Transport Post was reorganized into Commodity-Transport Department by Order of the Ministry of Gas Industry No. 270 dated October 28, 1981.

On January 1, 1982 Polotsk Commodity-Transport Department became a branch of the Belarussian Office of Liquefied Gas of the All-USSR Production Association Soyuzgazprom by Order of Soyuzgazprom No. 1. dated December 11, 1981.

On March 10, 1988 the All-USSR Production Association Soyuzgazprom was abolished. Production Association Soyuzgaz became its successor-company (by Order of the Ministry of Gas Industry No. 69-org dated March 10, 1988).

By Order of the USSR Council of Ministers No. 619 dated August 8, 1989 State Gas Concern Gazprom was established.

By Order of the USSR Council of Ministers No. 385 dated November 22, 1991 Belarussian Office of Liquefied Gas was admitted to the ownership of the Republic of Belarus.

On February, 1992 by the Order of the Belorussian SSR State Fuel and Gasification Committee, Belarusian Office of Liquefied Gas of Soyuzgaz Production Association was reorganized into Belarussian Enterprise of Transport and Supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas.

On July 23. 1992 Belarussian Fuel and Gasification Concern Beltopgas was established in accordance with the Resolution of the State Fuel and Gasification Committee dated February 20, 1992 and by Order of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 204 dated April 13, 1992.

On January 13, 2001 Belarussian Enterprise of Transport and Supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas was renamed into Republican Unitary Enterprise of Transportation and Supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas.

Beltopgas Concern was reorganized into State Fuel and Gasification Production Association Beltopgas by Order of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus No. 326 dated November 30, 2006.
